• Sanjiv Khanna, CEO
Sanjiv Khanna heads the operations in the United States
and is responsible for visioning and charting the future direction
for Iris Software.
Before starting Iris Software, he has worked with Tata Unisys, a joint venture
between Unisys Corporation and Tatas ( a large conglomerate in India ) for over
seven years. During this period, he executed several large software assignments
in the US and Europe. He has contributed significantly to the growth at Iris
Software in bringing and integrating a larger international focus to the operations
• Sunil Puri, President
Sunil Puri leads the Human Resource and the Finance
functions at Iris Software.
Prior to promoting Iris Software, he was employed with ICI, a large UK multinational
in India. He has been able to bring to Iris Software sound management and financial
discipline, which has ensured that Iris Software has had a firm financial position.
In recent years, he has taken on the responsibility for the Human Resource function
at Iris. He has been instrumental in resourcing the entire technical team at
Iris, the key engine of its rapid growth.
• Anil Apte, Vice President & Director
Anil Apte heads the India Development Center ( IDC
) and is the key person at Iris Software responsible for delivery
of software solutions to its customers.
Anil Apte has worked at Tata Consultancy Services ( TCS ), one of the largest
software services organizations in the world today, before promoting Iris Software.
He was at TCS for over seven years , where he was involved in the delivery of
various large projects, both in India and overseas. He has been instrumental
in instituting the well-defined delivery process in Iris Software, which has
been the backbone of its success.

• Employee - The Growth
Beginning with just 3 employees in 1991, today Iris Software has a large number
of software professionals working for it in the United States as well as in India.
Irisians are employed at the levels of Project Managers, Project Leaders, Module
Leaders and Team Members. Supporting them is an effective Sales and Marketing
team, a resourceful HR team, a Quality Team and accounting and administrative
support staff. Our Human Resource practices are well defined, clearly outlining
the career growth opportunities of all staff. We identify the goals and objectives
of every individual and map these to what Iris can offer - these are discussed
with every prospective employee. A clear organization structure is in place and
the lines of authority and responsibility have been clearly defined.
• Customers - The Growth
Today Iris Software has a larger number of customers
from a diverse industry sectors that include financial services,
banking, FMCG, real estate, IT and telecom etc. Many of our
customers whom we began an engagement with have retained our
services till today. This reflects a high level of customer
satisfaction Over the years, we have continuously added customers
and new engagements and significantly the contribution made
to our revenues is by our customers generating repeat business
