Iris Software voted a Top Workplace 2021
A culture built around transparency, collaboration and teamwork creates the mutual trust needed for exceptional outcomes.
Iris Software has been named a Top Workplace 2021 in an employee survey conducted by Energage, an employee engagement firm based in Exton, Pa. Energage uses a short, confidential survey containing 24 measures such as “Operates by strong values,” “Communication between employees and management” and “Innovates and operates efficiently” to determine a Top Workplace.
The Top Workplace 2021 award is the second such honor in a row. Earlier this year, we received the prestigious Great Place to Work certification, which recognizes our organization for building a “high-trust, high-performance culture.”
The NJ Advance Media has recognized Iris Software as one of 63 organizations in New Jersey as Top Workplaces for 2021. Clearly, this honor is a recognition of our culture built around transparency, collaboration and teamwork that produces mutual trust needed for exceptional outcomes.
A proven model
“This award tells us that our approach is working well in creating an environment where everyone can feel happy, energized, connected to their work and fulfilled in their careers,” says Sanjiv Khanna, CEO and co-founder of Iris Software. “We work hard for it. We have a 360-degree approach that sets expectations, strikes a work-life balance, empowers individuals and celebrates successes.”
We are careful in selecting and hiring candidates and we evaluate them through established processes. “Only those who are most likely to succeed in the company are chosen,” says Sunil Puri, president and co-founder of Iris Software. “We take a lot of time finding the right people who will fit into our culture.”
Iris Software employees enjoy above-average compensation, in-house training and comprehensive benefits. “We want to attract the very best talent, so we invest in our people,” says Sanjiv. “If your employees are happy in what they’re doing, they deliver the best service to our clients. That translates to a superior customer experience. We’re passionate about our clients — their success is our success.”
The other key ingredient to our company’s workplace success is transparency, according to our founders. “There are no secrets in this organization,’’ Sunil says. “Transparency is a key element of trust.’’
Irisians are also steeped in an “ABC” culture — going “above and beyond the call of duty,” Sanjiv adds. He points out that during the pandemic, our firm rapidly managed a smooth a seamless transition to a remote work environment, with all employees working from home. “Our culture has been built around collaboration and teamwork and that made it possible to easily shift to remote work.”
