Iris Sponsors the 28th Annual Livestrong Challenge

Iris Software was proud to sponsor the 28th annual Livestrong Challenge held in Austin, Texas, on October 20, 2024. This inspiring annual event unites the community in support of cancer-care resources for patients and survivors. Fundraising occurs through team sponsorships and participation in various cycling, running, and walking events. The latter two involve distances of 5K and 10K while the bicycling courses range from 20 to 45 to 65 to 100 miles.

Nearly two thousand people assembled for the event, which offers a festive atmosphere – with food, music, awards and fun activities – to celebrate the accomplishments of the participants and encourage the cancer-stricken they hope to help.

Iris & Friends was one of the largest participating teams, with over 50 registrants. It was captained by Abhishek Vij, client partner in our financial services technology unit, and comprised of local partners, family, friends, and Irisians who joined together to advance the cause.

At Iris, we believe in the power of collective action to drive meaningful change. We were pleased to sponsor the 28th annual Livestrong Challenge in 2024 and ride, run, and walk for the care resources that can bring a better tomorrow for cancer patients and survivors.
