Three Irisians named among India’s Great People Managers
Recognized for people management and motivating high-performing teams with excellence
We are delighted to announce that three Irisians – Manu Kaushal, Ravish Kumar, and Deepak Malik – have been featured among India's Top 100 Great People Managers for 2022-23 by the Great Manager Institute®. This recognition is a testament to their exceptional leadership skills and commitment to managing people with utmost professionalism and dedication.
The Top 100 Great People Managers across India were shortlisted through a rigorous methodology from diverse participants, including founders, CEOs, and senior and junior managers. And the ones with great people management effectiveness across levels, age bands, and experiences were selected for this honor.
When asked about key qualities for being a great people manager, Manu said being available for the team when they need you is critical. “When your team members need help, they should be able to call their leader without hesitation. This needs to happen by design. This builds trust that a leader in good times is also a leader in difficult times,” he added.
Ravish opines that the key traits of a great people manager are empathy, empowerment, transparency, and ownership.
According to Deepak, the secret lies in treating everyone as you would want to be treated yourself. “The philosophy that I strongly believe in is creating a work environment where people are valued, and they practice trust and empathy over command and control,” he said.
The winners were felicitated at the awards ceremony on May 26, 2023, organized by Great Manager Institute® and the National Human Resource Development Network (NHRDN).
Irisians have been recognized for their exceptional people management skills for the third consecutive year. Richa Jain and Deepak Yadav were featured in the prestigious Top 100 Great People Manager list in 2021 and 2022, respectively.
